Shana Trombley

Shana Trombley recently joined the Friends of the Fletcher Free Library to lead the library through the upcoming capital campaign. Shana has more than 30 years of experience working in nonprofit and government sectors and has a deep passion for libraries. Her mother was a librarian, and when her own children were young, the library was a weekly destination for her family. More recently, libraries have functioned as a mobile 'office' as she frequently travels the state to work with Vermont nonprofits.

“I am honored to join the FFFL as the capital campaign manager,” says Shana. “Libraries are foundational public institutions that meet a community's diverse needs. I'm incredibly grateful to join the team that will reinvent Fletcher Free Library and give our community a sustainable, revitalized library where people can gather, learn, access technology, and enjoy a beautiful public space.”
